The IM Showcase is an exhibition of innovative concepts, prototypes and experiences in the exciting space where creativity and technology converge. The event is led by the students from the interdisciplinary Interactive Media BSc at the University of York.

A live broadcasted gala event (Friday 18th June) recorded from the black box in the TFTI Department and streamed via YouTube and Twitch services.

Saturday 19th - Sunday 20th

An online exhibition of projects using Mozilla Hubs (Saturday 19th - Sunday 20th June), where we are designing a series of virtual rooms which will allow guests to navigate through the projects and interact with other guests.

What is the IM Showcase?
During the event, you will have the chance to immerse yourself in the work created by our talented student community and celebrate their achievements in this interdisciplinary field. The showcase aims to bring everyone together, giving you the opportunity to engage and build connections with the IM cohort and other industry and academic professionals. Interactive Media students specialise in diversity, so there will be a project for you, whether it be Web Designs and Mobile Application projects to User Experience design pieces and humanities projects.
Covid-19 Update
Our aim is to create an event that is safe for everyone and all government guidelines regarding COVID-19. We are working towards having an online gala and exhibition which will be broadcasted throughout our social media pages. More information on the general structure and schedule of the event will be released closer to the time. Rest assured that the committee is working hard to make this showcase possible and memorable for everyone.
